About MeMy great uncle Noah Leland came to Saint Petersburg in 1907 and opened the first ice cream parlor on Central Avenue. It was 95 years later that I discovered the charm of St. Pete and the Tampa Bay area! As a youth I lived in the same northern Indiana country home that Noah's wife left earlier in the century when they moved to St. Petersburg!
I left Indiana after graduating from Purdue University. Most of my career involved retail buying and management for department and specialty retailers in Indianapolis, San Francisco, and Honolulu. Those positions afforded me extensive travel to markets around the world including Europe, South America, and The Far East! Real Estate has always been a passion; so when I elected 'out' of retail and 'in' to Florida, Realtor was my natural career choice!
